Chic & Craft program is a strategic alliance for adult education under the key action Partnership for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices of the Erasmus + Program, and organizations from Spain, Slovenia, Germany, Greece and Lithuania have collaborated to implement it. Chic & Craft program addresses the challenge of providing education to people with mental illness with a tool to improve the knowledge and skills of these people in the field of clothing design, it facilitates their access to alternative learning opportunities for adults. In this way, users of mental health services will also be assisted in finding work. Chic & Craft includes the creation and piloting of an innovative set of training modules to empower adults with mental illness to develop not only manual but also social and IT skills, based on social networks and participatory learning methodology. Wearing clothes designed by themselves will enhance their appearance, thereby enhancing their self-confidence, reducing discrimination and social inclusion.
