The first shelter house of semi-autonomous accommodation of IASIS operates in the area of Kato Patisia since 2012, and it is considered as a transitional stage from the Boarding House to a fully autonomous accommodation.
The people who live in the apartment undertake the house management and handle the everyday requirements. They have the opportunity to improve their self-sufficiency, their skills and their self-esteem, as well as to build relationships with members of the local community and try to find a solution for the everyday problems and routine. The role of the therapeutic team is to support them every time that they are in need. In this place they have the opportunity to improve their skills and their self-esteem.
